Your 2021 Attitude

Do you have an attitude to seek God about everything?

We are taught to seek after relationships, career, money, status, fame, attention, anything that will make us feel happy. Just head over to social media and look at what people are doing to get someone to like their post or follow their page.

In the past, I’ve focused my time and energy on many things that have nothing to do with God. As a result, some of the issues and trials that I experienced could have been avoided if I based my life off seeking God first.

Matthew 6:33: But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God - (beatitudes)], and all these things will be given to you also.

Some think this verse only means if I seek God first, that means He will supply an abundance of material blessings for me.

God is reminding us that seeking after worldly things, things that have no spiritual value, will only lead to emptiness.

Ask yourself, do I seek God before making decisions? 

As I mature in my faith, God reveals that seeking after Him will bring more value to my life than anything else in this world.

I challenge you to change your attitude to seek the Lord for everything this month.
