Resurrection Sunday Reflections

Last week we were reminded of Jesus Christ's humble life, most painful death (crucifixion), and miraculous resurrection.

Resurrection Sunday could also be called Debt Free Sunday because God gave us credit for Jesus Christ of Nazareth's finished works. Before Jesus died, He cried out, "It is Finished!" (John 19:30). Those powerful words strengthen my trust and faith in Him as my Lord and Savior.

God gives us credit for Jesus's perfect life of righteousness, and He remained obedient to God even to the point of death. Therefore, God accepts His death as payment for our sin which means we are Debt Free.

Make this transaction personal by adding your name to the below statements:

______________ your redemption has arrived

______________ my substitution plan to save you have come to completion

______________ it’s fully accomplished

______________ your debt is Paid in FULL

Yes, It Is Finished. My debt is Paid in FULL, and if you have received Christ as your Lord and Savior, and live by faith your debt has also been Paid in FULL. Your faith in Him gives you this victory. We have overcome the penalty of sin (1 John 5:4-5).

So I hope that instead of spending your life paying off different types of worldly debts like a mortgage, automobile loan, student loan, business investments, credit cards, etc., you spend your life as your spiritual debt is PAID in FULL.

His Resurrection means you have an opportunity to experience walking in a Be-Attitude, and a new debt-free life of spiritual transformation...the Blessed Life.
