Day 1: Attitude of Courage
Day 1: Attitude of Courage
With the pandemic going on for almost two years now, many people's attitudes have shifted from being confident in some areas of their life to being uncertain and doubtful. This mindset has been a barrier for many to follow through on plans and commitments made earlier in the year.
In the next five days, I invite you to be intentional about having a courageous attitude by completing different tasks.
Courage is defined as the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery.
The set of words included in this definition stood out to me “without fear.” In my experience, fear will always try to show up in our life. Courage is also a demonstration of pushing past those fears and proceeding despite our fear.
When I look back over these past years, I am reminded of how it took Courage to design and launch a faith-inspired handbag. I can remember where I started and how overwhelmed I was with doubts and fear of not knowing a lot about the fashion industry or designing a purse from scratch. I also questioned if I would be able to pursue this dream while having a demanding full-time job and living in the Middle East. Then, the pandemic brought even more obstacles and uncertainties.
I didn't give up, instead, I intentionally worked on my Attitude. As a result, I developed the Courage to complete that God-sized dream.
